Triple check everything!!! While this place is affordable, you definitely get what you paid for. I read other reviews mentioning their horrible communication spanning months prior and they aren’t exaggerating. After they’d released my dog to me post-surgery, I noticed they completely forgotten to remove one of the masses in his neck. When I went back inside to bring it to their attention, they realized they had confused it with a skin tag since the vet who initially examined him and the one who did the procedure were 2 different people. My options were either leave him overnight so they could remove what they were supposed to the 1st time, or come back another day. The last thing I wanted was to put him through more discomfort by waiting so I opted to leave him. Now I was out another PTO day and $130 from the impromptu hotel room I had to book to save myself the 3hr round-trip drive back to DFW. I had been a worried, crying wreck all day and the receptionist offered to call me once the 2nd surgery was completed and I never received the call. The next morning when I arrived, they spent 5min looking for his collar they had misplaced and when they finally found it he ended up peeing in the room since he couldn’t hold it any longer. Fast-forward 2 weeks, I’m playing with him in the yard a day after his stitch removal and I realized they forgot to remove an entire incision’s stitches! Did his record not state he had 3 incision sites? It’s Sunday and tomorrow is Labor Day, no vets are open not to mention I can’t call off work again Tuesday or spend all that time and gas to head up there again for 3 stitches. Not only are they not great at communicating with customers, but looks like they can’t even communicate with each other. I’ve never written a review before, but after 3 visits in a row with something going wrong, I feel like I need to. I wouldn’t completely deter people from coming here since a place with good vet prices are hard to come by, but definitely triple check EVERYTHING with them yourself before getting anything done. I’ll attach a picture of his forgotten stitches the Sunday after his Saturday removal.
