So my cat got into some burdock and I couldn’t get it out. I called 49th Street Pet Grooming and they informed that I could show up and wait to be a walk-in. So I got my cat into the car and we drove over to the place. My Heraldo was scared the entire way. When we got there I went inside to check in and the kid at the counter tells me that they can’t do anything because they require sedation and no spots are open today. Now my question is why couldn’t she have said that on the phone. So as I was driving back home disappointed for being played like a fool I call the 49th street back to understand better and get some clarity and the girl try’s to cop an attitude and raise her voice while I am talking. How immature is that? Needless to say I will be exercising my options next time I need one of cats groomed.

I have to say very goid place to take an animal. But I do have to complsin about the post op care... my dog went in for a growth removal, took him back today for what I thougjht would have been a suture removal, or at least a check. But little did I know they charge you for a recheck, and a bandage change. I have never been to clinic that charges for recheck post op. And a bandage change when they have to take off the bandage to check the sutures... to see if the sutures can come out after 7 days. Which sutures are typically in fir 10 to 14 days.. so no they were not ready to come out after 7 days. So we have to go back in 7 more days to get charged again.... and they gave my dog a cone so he doesn' lick the site. But with they cone they gave me he could still get to the area, so I asked for a longer one today and then charged ne again for anothet cone... but thats fine whatever. But charging me for posy op care is not ok... I had a removal from my shoulder and went back for post op care and didn' t get charged a dime. Because ut's post op care and suture removal. This is unacceptable and will be looking for new vet after my dog has been cleared.
